Composite decking in Lindfield

This project involved putting in a 5.9m swim spa in the back corner of the property. The spa had to be craned in (it weighed 1.5 tonne and the back of the property was 50m away from the road) and had to be delivered over the houses. First we dug out the pit and retained the area to allow 500mm around the spa once it was put in place after the slab was laid. With a submersible pump in place, we were ready to deck around the spa. Hatches were put in place and steps along the entire length gave access to the spa and the backyard. Other features of this job include:

• Leatherwood composite boards

• Breaker boards used to eliminate any joins

• Lighting around border to illuminate backyard at night and give a touch of elegance
